Allocate signs ATEGRIS as its first customer in Germany for its next generation mobile staff management software

German healthcare provider ATEGRIS has introduced Optima by Allocate Software at their hospitals in Mülheim and Oberhausen. Besides providing leading edge scheduling and reporting capabilities, the software will aid recruitment and retention by offering staff unrivalled access via their mobile phones, allowing them to see shifts, book leave and direct book onto overtime, or flexible shifts. ATEGRIS believes this leading mobile staff management software will improve staff experience and ensure patients benefit from effective staffing.

Once the initial roll-out is complete, the software will be used across the entire group which comprises three senior citizens' residential homes, the stationary Mülheim hospice and the Pflege.Palliativ.Ruhr nursing home. This is the first application of the Optima solution in the German-speaking countries since Allocate entered the DACH market in February with a new branch office in Dortmund.

Optima will transform ATEGRIS from the current situation where managers have to phone around wards to get staffing situation and have little visibility of impact of staffing on patient care into a next generation solution.

By making this investment, ATEGRIS will transform traditional staff planning into a dynamic, transparent and integrated management system. Staff are more involved in the process and can view their duty rosters online via mobile app, request services or days off or submit holiday and training applications. Improving staff experience will create a positive atmosphere which in turn will benefit patients.
