North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust

North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust provides local hospital services to approximately 250,000 people in the north London boroughs of Enfield and Haringey, as well as some specialist services for people across a wider geographical area.

Our adult and children’s emergency departments are among the busiest in London, and we regularly see more than 600 people come through the doors of our A&E each day. We are proud to be at the centre of a strong diverse community, and committed to helping our local population be as healthy as possible.

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

The Royal Free London is a large NHS foundation trust, employing more than 10,000 staff and serving a population of more than 1.6 million people across north London and Hertfordshire. The trust is made up of three main hospitals – Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital in addition to many other satellite sites.

We attract patients from across the country to our specialist services in liver, kidney transplantation, haemophilia, renal, HIV, infectious diseases, plastic surgery, immunology, vascular surgery, Parkinson’s disease, cardiology, amyloidosis and scleroderma. Barnet Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital operate two busy emergency departments

Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital

The RNOH is part of the North London Partners Integrated Care System (ICS) which is a partnership of local authorities and health and care organisations from Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington. We are working together to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for our population of 1.5 million people. The Trust directly employs 1,529 people with hundreds more employed by partners supporting its work. It provides services on two sites; the Stanmore Hospital site which is a 223 bed hospital with capacity for 16 intensive care patients and is set in 112 acres of land in the London Borough of Harrow and the Bolsover Street site which attends to outpatient cases only and is located in Central London.

Whittington Health NHS Trust

Whittington Health NHS Trust provides expert care for more than 500,000 local people as an integrated care organisation rated as outstanding for caring by the CQC.

Alongside the main Whittington Hospital, they have 30 community locations in the north London boroughs of Islington and Haringey. A fantastic team of more than 4,400 specialist staff also support the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Camden.

What is the Collaborative Bank?

The North Central London (NCL) Collaborative Bank is your opportunity to choose the bank shifts you want to work beyond just your home trust, giving you greater control and choice of how you want to work. Once you’re accepted into the Collaborative Bank, you can easily book shifts at another Trust in the Collaborative Bank, at the click of a button via Loop, EmployeeOnline or the Me App.

The NCL Collaborative Bank is available for Band 2 nursing, Band 5 general nursing, including RMN’s, and Radiographers.

Ensure you are signed up to one of the temporary staffing banks at either:

  • North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust

  • Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

  • Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital
  • Whittington Health NHS Trust
  • University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Login into Loop, the Me App or EmployeeOnline (whichever you use), and click ‘opt in to CloudStaff’ duties.

  • This means your Me App or EoL will allow you to see Collaborative Bank duties.
  • In the Me App, click on the Main Menu for ‘CloudStaff Opt In’ options.
  • In EmployeeOnline, click on My Profile for ‘CloudStaff Opt-In’ options. If you are using EmployeeOnline on your mobile, make sure to click on ‘Full Site’ to access this.

Once ‘opted in’, you’ll receive an email from [email protected] asking you to complete the ‘Joiner’ form, which includes you providing your payment information. Remember to check your junk or spam folder too!

  • Why is this needed? Your pay will be facilitated by the Collaborative Bank, so we need to ensure we have your correct details.

Once you have done both of these steps, you’ll receive confirmation that you are part of the NCL Collaborative Bank and you’ll be able to start booking shifts via Loop, the Me App, or EmployeeOnline.

  • To access and book collaborative shifts, make sure you are 100% compliant with your Mandatory and Statutory Training (MaST) at your ‘Home Trust’.
