The Allocate Certified Specialist (ACS) certification is the next step in terms of progression from Allocate Certified Professional (ACP). It is suitable for administrators with an advanced level of knowledge, who have also gained experience in rostering more complex areas. For instance this could be Maternity, an Emergency Department and Theatres within an Acute setting involving rotational patterns, or the use of Activity Manager to roster a large number of clinics within a community setting.
The ACS is assessed via a formal exam along with a review of two complex areas that you have successfully implemented, so you will need to have a portfolio that demonstrates where you have applied knowledge and skill to achieve this.
