Yesterday the BMA secured a Court of Appeal victory in the case of Hallett v Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This case covered whether the Trust had incorrectly applied monitoring rules to junior doctors’ rotas using the 2002 junior doctor contract.

The monitoring rules applied by the Trust were implemented via eRota so the case refers to Allocate in its findings. We are working with stakeholders to understand how we can support them following this judgement and we will provide a further update once we have more information.

If you have any questions relating to eRota please contact [email protected]
