Role Summary:

Today we focus on delivering software tools to help healthcare institutions manage their staff safely and efficiently so that they can deliver exceptional care to all their patients. We have customers in 11 countries, with 800,000 people deployed using our software in over 800 organisations.

The position of Pre Sales Consultant is to promote and present Allocate Software’s Healthcare products to prospective customers. This will involve detailed demonstrations of the Allocate Software range. Travel nationally (and potentially internationally) on a regular basis. There is also a requirement to undertake the Allocate Software’s Roster Assessment Exercise (RA).


  • Running demonstrations with prospective Healthcare clients to promote and assist with the sale of Allocate Software’s products.

  • Liaising with the product team regarding product features and changes, helping to keep the company’s products at the forefront of the industry.

  • Maintaining sales reporting information as required.

  • Continually maintain an understanding of Allocate Software’s position in the marketplace, including a full understanding of competitive products.

  • Occasional attendance at exhibitions to promote the company’s products.

  • Planning and recording of client masterclasses and bite-size videos.

  • Undertaking internal training to ensure the cross pollination of skills across departments.

  • Undertake site visits to present Roster Assessment Process, often to organisations senior management teams, including executives

  • Use Healthroster databases to produce a report that highlights areas of inefficiencies or non-budgeted spend

  • Attend feedback sessions with Trusts and respond to queries as required


Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Understanding of and experience in the Healthcare industry, preferably in software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications

  • Confidence and experience in delivering presentations to prospective end users

  • Can be flexible and adaptable while under pressure

  • Proven ability in influencing key stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, driven and used to working in a sales environment

  • Experience in Business Intelligence, ERP or related products

  • Confidence and experience in delivering presentations to prospective end users

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Experienced user of at least 1 Allocate product is highly desirable
