Role Summary:

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation of the Allocate Health Suite workforce management applications on client sites.  The implementation process incorporates all elements of

  • Implementation project scoping and planning;

  • Client engagement and management;

  • Project progress reporting;

  • Data collection, system configuration and knowledge transfer;

  • Product demonstration and training;

  • Testing and go-live supervision.


Allocate Software uses well-defined implementation methodologies which the Implementation Consultant will be expected to use and follow. This role requires the incumbent to have an expert level knowledge of one or more aspects of Allocate’s Health Suite and have the ability to train others.

The Implementation Consultant must have highly evolved analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to communicate ideas and champion ‘Best Practice’ implementation processes with the objective of maximising realised benefit resulting from the implementation of Health Suite.

 Responsibilities:

  • Accurately take requirements relating to the setup and configuration of the Allocate Health Suite product;

  • Configure the Health Suite product in line with best practices and confirming with due process;

  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations as required

  • Ensure checkpoints are completed where necessary

  • Report on the progress of implementation projects to the Client Services Project Manager, maintain and update project reporting documentation

  • Plan and manage user level requirements workshops – capturing the business needs and documenting them in a suitable format to reflect the Implementation Objectives

  • Ensure Client Services management are informed of any new developments (technical or political) taking place with the client which may be relevant to Allocate generally

  • Identify risks, taking appropriate action and escalating as necessary


 

 Skills/Qualifications/Experience Required:

Skills

  • Excellent customer interfacing skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the end user community within the client organisation

  • Strong capacity for business requirements analysis and document preparation

  • Good interpersonal skills with clients and colleagues alike

  • Ensure the continuous engagement with the implementation and project outcomes from senior management within the customer


Experience

  • A technology background within workforce management implementations in a Healthcare environment gained in either a client or vendor role

  • Experience as a project leader, having been responsible for managing a scope of work to a defined time schedule according to a well-defined scope

  • Experience as a rostering practitioner, gained preferably in a health (acute or aged care) environment

  • Experience in delivering user workshops  (planning, leading and meeting minutes)

  • Experience in delivering product training, both one-to-one and in small groups


 

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or a related field

  • Industry recognised qualifications in a commercial standard project management methodology would be well regarded
